SPRINGFIELD, Tenn. – S3 Recycling Solutions today announced that it has named Chris Cochran to its eight-member Board. Cochran is the CEO of FreightWise, a Nashville-based technology growth company celebrated for its innovations in the logistics tech sector.

Cochran is expected to contribute extensive expertise in logistics technology, operational efficiency, mergers and acquisitions, and transformative leadership. As CEO of FreightWise, he has helped the organization garner numerous accolades, including being recognized as America’s 2nd fastest-growing private company. Cochran was also named a finalist for Ernst and Young’s 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year award and recently recognized as a Power 100 executive by the Nashville Business Journal.

S3’s leadership also expressed the importance of adding a new board member who can help support S3’s recent geographical expansion and revenue growth.

Cochran has also served as a mentor for startups, a judge at entrepreneurial pitch events, and a board member for various organizations, including serving as finance chair of the Nashville Technology Council.

In addition to his executive achievements, Cochran successfully led the acquisition of Kuebix from Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB), further demonstrating his expertise in corporate growth and strategic leadership. Prior to FreightWise, he held leadership roles at TracBack, Oracle, and Kronos, where he honed his skills in enterprise software, operations, and team development.
