Lucas McCain, S3-Carolinas Director of Development

S3 Recycling Solutions, the largest Nashville-based electronic recycler, today announced that it has expanded its operations into the Carolinas where it has opened its second location. With offices in Uptown Charlotte and Western North Carolina, S3’s new presence will serve all of the Carolinas with a focus on Charlotte, Asheville, and Upstate South Carolina.

Coming off a record year in revenue in 2017, S3 is in a growth phase surpassing $1 million in annual sales and doubling its staff size. S3 today is celebrating 10 years in business and has supported a diverse client base throughout the United States and Canada for the last decade.

“Our expansion into the Carolinas is consistent with our organic growth strategy in the Southeast,” said S3 CEO Rod McDaniel. “We are excited to help new customers achieve their sustainability goals, as we all fight to reduce our nation’s toxic e-waste. As we seek new client partners in the Carolina region, we will further expand our mission of maximizing security, stewardship and sustainability through technology recycling solutions.”

The S3-Carolina office is managed by Lucas McCain who joined S3 in January 2018 as a director of development. McCain has more than 10 years of experience in project management, business development and information technology services. He most recently served two years at AT&T as a Scrum Master and product owner. He will be responsible for all S3-Carolina operations including sales, client management and overall business strategy.

S3 creates client-specific e-waste solutions to help organizations dispose of surplus equipment in a safe and environmentally responsible manner. As a member of the National Association for Information Destruction, S3’s core business is to provide corporate entities with computer and electronic recycling, data destruction, decommissioning, medical and information technology asset disposition.
