S3 Recycling Solutions, one of the largest full-service technology recycling firms based in Middle Tennessee, today announced that it has added electronics recycling industry veteran Rick Dukes to its team as director of operations.
Headquartered in Springfield, Tenn., S3 helps customers throughout North America reduce the cost of ownership of their electronic technology assets. As director of operations, Dukes is responsible for supervising day-to-day activity of warehouse logistics, as well as managing overall process improvement, increased operational efficiency and increased customer satisfaction.
Before joining S3, Dukes served as an account executive and operations manager at Sims Recycling Solutions where he generated strategic, profitable relationships with customers, created new opportunities for revenue growth, established and led an efficient warehouse workforce, and designed and implemented operational procedures for the production workforce that aligned with regulatory and safety standards.
“Rick is an invaluable asset for S3 as we continue to expand our operations and become a national leader in the electronic recycling industry,” said S3 Recycling Solutions CEO Rod McDaniel. “I have all confidence in his ability to build on and further develop our current growth strategy.”
S3 has maintained a steady growth trajectory in recent years. Just over one year ago, the company expanded its operations to a 75,000 square foot warehouse facility just north of Nashville, Tenn., where it plans to add 25 jobs over five years. Recent electronic recycling contract wins with HPG Healthtrust and other global corporations are expected to accelerate the company’s growth in revenue and staff size.
S3 Recycling Solutions is a full-service technology recycling firm with an emphasis on cost-effective processes for receiving, sorting, re-purposing and re-marketing electronic assets. We help our customers reduce the cost of ownership of their electronic technology assets, while providing a peace of mind that data security is maintained at the highest industry standards. Since its inception in 2007, S3 has supported a diverse client base throughout the United States and Canada. S3’s vision is to combat our planet’s e-waste epidemic by employing both environmentally and financially responsible processes for a stronger, safer global community.
