S3 Named in List of Top Small Businesses

The Nashville Business Journal included S3 Recycling Solutions in its 2018 list of Small Business Awards honorees. The publication said it selected 25 small businesses in Music City “who may be small in ranks but who are making a big impact on the city’s business community.”

An independent panel of judges reviewed criteria such as revenue and employee growth, marketing plans and overall business strategy. The full list of honorees can be found on NBJ’s website.

“We are excited to be considered in the conversation of leading small businesses in Nashville,” said S3 CEO Rod McDaniel. “Nashville is one of the fastest growing economies in the country, and it’s an honor to be a contributor to our community’s success.”

In 2017, S3’s annual revenue grew from $400,000 to $1 million; a 150 percent increase. With more than 15 employees, S3 has grown to become the largest electronic recycling company headquartered in Nashville, Tenn. S3 also opened its second location this year in Charlotte, North Carolina.
